A 6-week confidence and self-defence programme for women at Militia BJJ, combining practical Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu escapes with the mindset and nervous-system tools to stay calm under pressure.
When: Sundays from 4 October, 9:00–10:30am
Where: Militia BJJ, Nazeing, Hertfordshire
Length: 6 weeks · 90 minutes per session
Group: Women only · maximum 25 placesOver six weeks you'll learn escapes that work regardless of size or strength — from grabs, holds, pins and the ground — alongside breathwork, boundary-setting and confidence tools that help you actually use them when it matters. No previous experience needed. Every drill is opt-in and trauma-informed, and you stay in control throughout.
What to wear: Comfortable athletic clothing (leggings and t-shirt). We train barefoot on the mats.
What to bring: Water, a hair tie if needed, and an open mind.Bonus: Join Militia BJJ after the programme and receive a free gi (£80 value) when you pay your first month upfront.
Cancellation: Full refund if you cancel within 7 days of purchase. After that, no refunds, but you're welcome to transfer your place to another woman.
